We made it - Madeline was at the first day weigh-in!

It was great to see all the ladies in the championship and in the audience.

A determined Madeline was there sitting front and center in the cold and rain.

Friday morning Madeline and Jim whisked around the EXPO and were able to see a tremendous number of ladies working at various booths - especially the Academy booth which was a sort of gathering area for WBT anglers.

Wallace and I made the first day weigh-in and EXPO as well. It was a challenge with him in a wheelchair and me on crutches but worth the effort to see everyone --- what a great show at the EXPO.

2008 Hotel / Motel HELP

I am set for the 1st tournament of the 2008 season in Texas but need help on the next 3. The last thing I want to do is select a hotel in the wrong area. Any ideas?

Tournament

Hello Ladies,

I am fishing my first bass tournament this Sat. at Skiatook Lake in OK. I have never really fished for bass, has mainly been Crappie or trout. I sure could use some pointers. What you fish with. I prefer to use a closed faced reel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed they announced the BASS OPENS schedule - Elite schedule is out.

Have any ideas what lakes next year.

I sure would like to fish some.

OK ladies it time to kick up our heals. ESPN has contracted to televise 45 little league games. As well as the Little League World Series. It was on our local news last night. They are covering everything else why not us!!!!!!!

Fisher Girl

I've noticed that many of you lady anglers are wearing the official FISHER GIRL shirt when competing in tournaments.

My question is - Do they actually sponsor you with funds?

Or do you receive some sort of percentage for sales made at Fisher Girl?

The reason I ask is becasue if you receive a percentage of the sale, how do they know you made it?
